Kids curriculum (5-7 years)
Our curriculum for young learners fosters Creativity and Self Expression through art.
Kids are encouraged to Communicate their ideas through Art while exploring and enjoying the creative process.
Objective: To nurture independent drawing skills and creative thinking while helping children build foundational art knowledge.
Our Pedagogy
Our unique teaching methodology sets us apart when introducing children to art through Thematic Compositions rather than traditional, rigid techniques.
This means your child will dive into exciting themes like “Under the Sea” or “A Day in the Forest,” using stories and ideas to naturally learn essential skills like color mixing, perspective, and shading. They won’t just draw lines and shapes—they’ll tell stories, express their ideas, and create art reflecting their imagination.
Key Areas of Focus:
Shapes and Lines:
Throughout the lessons, children explore key elements of art, including line and shape through engaging and creative projects.
Color Theory:
Learn about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and how to use the color wheel in art works. Kids will learn mixing and blending of colors.
Textures and Patterns:
Understanding and learning how to use mediums and different materials to create textures and patterns
Mediums:
Experiment with a variety of art mediums like crayons, oil pastels, watercolors, poster colors and sketch pens through a wide spectrum of art projects.
Art History:
Learn about famous artists and their art styles. Creating artworks inspired by these artists’ styles, such as cubism, impressionism, or abstract art.
